NIKA TURKOVIC LONDON

I come from a small but beautiful country on the Mediteranean sea –Croatia. I started singing at the age of 2, and began writting songs at the age of 8. I won the Junior eurovision song contest in my country and ended up 3rd at the Junior eurovision song contest in Norway in 2004. After that, I continued with my music school, wrote songs, performed at many events and TV shows. I knew music was all I wanted to do, but I also knew that I needed to work a lot, and be prepared for everything that's out there in the real world.

Two years ago, my father sent a recording to his friend in NY, and that friend happened to know Diana. He immediately said he would forward this recording to her, since he liked it and saw some potential in it. At the time, I did a research on Diana online and thought that this lady will definitely not be interested in my music (I was 16 at that time). Fortunately, I was wrong, and there was a great surprise; Diana called my father and invited us to visit her in NY, which we immediately did.

I was so excited that she wanted to talk to me, reply my emails, and even wanted see me. When I met her, she welcomed us into her home, made lunch for us (she's also a great cook!), and I performed a few songs for her. She gave me a lot of good advices and we started cooperating.

Up to this day, she believes in me, and that means a lot to me. It gives me confidence and I believe in myself more and more every day. Now I know I can actually develop my talent and succeed with my music career, trusting that hard work is all it takes. I am studying in London currently, and we are planning my future carreer together. I am looking forward to every step of our cooperation in the future.
